SAJIDA Foundation Organizes a Refreshers Training for the Caregivers of Elder Care

On 18th December, 2018, the Elder Care program of SAJIDA Foundation held a refreshers training for its caregivers, and this was the first training of this kind. With advice and support from Mr. Alex Berland, consultant and advisor for SAJIDA Foundation, a client-feedback based training plan was developed. The one-day training included sessions on movement, positioning and falls, skills training (blood pressure checking, sugar testing, pulse oximeter reading, insulin administration, and medicine management), communication and etiquette. The training was conducted by Elder Care’s specialized group of quality assurance and training officers, who customized their training curricula according to their close observations of care requirements while on visits.

With the vision to provide the best service for its clients, Elder Care is committed to conduct such training sessions for all its caregiving staff regularly.
