Awareness Session on the Importance of Proper Hygiene for RMG Workers

On 29th September, WASH for RMG Workers conducted a Change Agent Orientation at Next Accessories Ltd. To raise awareness among workers about basics of WASH, menstrual hygiene management, and the importance of the community to extend support to female co-workers in case of MHM emergencies. The session inaugurated by the factory management included MHM awareness video, along with discussions on the roles and responsibilities of Change Agents, and ended the session with an action plan for all.

Providing WASH for RMG workers under SAJIDA Foundation seeks to increase access to WASH facilities for 12,000 garment workers living in Ashulia and Savar for improved health status for themselves and their families. As part of this project we are providing water facilities to 6,915 RMG workers and their family members, sanitation facilities to 6,689 and have also provided hygiene awareness sessions for 46,091 community people.
