“Witnessing the parents cradle their recovering baby, their relieved and joyful expressions bring me an indescribable sense of satisfaction” - Zinnatur Nahar, Ward In-Charge, SAJIDA Hospital

Zinnatur Nahar serves as the ward in-charge at SAJIDA Hospital. With an impressive nursing career spanning 25 years, she currently oversees the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the Kidney Dialysis Unit. Zinnatur became a part of the SAJIDA Foundation in 2017.

Her co-workers frequently seek her advice, knowing she is always there for them. She takes new nurses under her wing, offering guidance and practical demonstrations.

Zinnatur shares, "When a baby in the NICU is diagnosed with an illness, I always comfort the parents, assuring them of a swift recovery and encouraging them to have faith in God, according to their beliefs. Witnessing the parents cradle their recovering baby, their relieved and joyful expressions bring me an indescribable sense of satisfaction."

She regularly receives heartfelt appreciation from the guardians of her patients, motivating her to continue her invaluable service. Zinnatur shared that she finds immense joy in serving the community and aspires to carry on this noble work for as long as she is able.
