SAJIDA’s representatives participated in a global summit on the digital future of financial service providers

With inclusive digitization of financial services a topic of growing importance in Bangladesh, SAJIDA’s representatives participated in a global summit on the digital future of financial service providers, held in Nairobi, Kenya from June 24th to 27th. Organised by the Social Performance Task Force (SPTF) and the Smart Campaign, the summit was titled Inclusive Digital Future: A Summit on Responsible Finance in Action. The gathering brought together financial service providers, regulators, investors, and Digital Financial Services (DFS) experts for two days of trainings, panels, and interactive breakout discussions, finished off by field visits to leading Kenyan institutions engaged in digital transformation. The three-day forum included sharing of invaluable information and training by MSC (Microsave Consulting), and ADA, and sought to address the most pressing financial inclusion related question: How do we promote inclusion and trust in digital financial services while fostering innovation and growth? SAJIDA’s team brought back valuable lessons and important insights to aid the Foundation in shaping its own digital strategies over the coming years.
