On November 13, the Elder Care Team of SAJIDA Foundation welcomed three new Quality Assurance and Training Officers to ensure quality service for all its clients and feedback-based training for caregivers. Mr. Alex Berland, senior consultant and advisor, worked closely with the service and management team of Elder Care for an intensive 9-day training. The training included sessions on the development of client-specific care plans, nursing assessment and evaluation forms, on-site evaluation and training of caregivers, as well as client-centric process flows and SOPs for service improvement. To ensure a more realistic and effective training, mock sessions were held where real-life situations and feedback were incorporated.
The Elder Care program provides in-home health care services for the elderly who require intimate care, companionship and assistive services. Elder Care believes in investing in its service team to ensure the best training is ultimately disseminated to its caregivers, thus, this training was conducted.
